Joella Killian, Professor of Biology, is an entomologist trained at the North Carolina State University. Dr. Killan's dissertation project was a study of management strategies for controlling arthropod pests in peaches. Her current research interest is pheromone technology. Joella teaches Invertebrate Zoology (Biol 321), Entomology (Biol 323), Parasitology (Biol 372) and Biological Concepts (Biol 121 & 122).
