Theresa Grana, Assistant Professor of Biology, joined the department in 2008. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina for her studies of oncogenes in cellular responses to ionizing radiation. As a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Grana examined the roles of cell adhesion in cell migration events in development. Her current research interests include regulation of cell adhesion by gene networks and imaging of Nematode development. Theresa teaches Biological Concepts (BIOL 121) and General Genetics (BIOL 341).
